I am an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Behavior Change Coach. It has always been my passion to help others enjoy a healthier and fitter lifestyle.
I have worked at the YMCA (Coal Creek and Sammamish branches) and Mommy’s Fit Zone (Issaquah). During the pandemic, I found my real passion in teaching fitness classes outdoors to small groups of women which has now become The Plum Path Fitness.
I am a mom of 3. I grew up in the UK. I have attended group fitness classes since the age of 16, from Boxercise and Step Aerobics, to Circuit Training and Bums and Tums! Combining a full body strength workout with cardio exercises is my favorite format. And I love incorporating dumbbells and other equipment, such as battle rope, medicine balls, BOSUs and steps, into my workouts.
As a behavior change coach, I will help you discover your unique path to eat better, be more active and make healthier decisions for you and your family. I believe in creating a healthy lifestyle rather than quick fixes. I strongly encourage nutrition over empty calories. Whichever program you do with me, I will encourage, guide and equip you with the tools to make lasting steps towards a healthier lifestyle. In my spare time, I enjoy substitute teaching at Issaquah School District, spending time with my kids, having Spanish conversations with native speakers through Italki, reading, soaking up the sun, visiting new places and meeting up with friends and new people for coffee and chocolate cake!
