About Me
I am an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Behavior Change Coach. It has always been my passion to help others enjoy a healthier and fitter lifestyle.
I have worked at the YMCA (Coal Creek and Sammamish branches) and Mommy’s Fit Zone (Issaquah). During the pandemic, I found my real passion in teaching fitness classes outdoors to small groups of women which has now become The Plum Path Fitness.
I am a mom of 3. I grew up in the UK. I have attended group fitness classes since the age of 16, from Boxercise and Step Aerobics, to Circuit Training and Bums and Tums! My workouts combine a full body strength workout with cardio exercises, in different formats. I love incorporating dumbbells and other equipment, such as battle rope, medicine balls, BOSUs and steps, into my workouts. I also like running (middle distances) and my family and I run Parkrun 5Ks every Saturday.
As a behavior change coach, I will help you discover your unique path to eat better, be more active and make healthier decisions for you and your family. I believe in creating a healthy lifestyle rather than quick fixes. I strongly encourage nutrition over empty calories. Whichever program you do with me, I will encourage, guide and equip you with the tools to make lasting steps towards a healthier lifestyle. On the days I’m not teaching fitness classes, I work as a Spanish Interpreter and a Middle School Substitute Teacher for the Issaquah School District.
